About the Presenter:
Ken Uhl, Spectrum Systems Inc., Lead SCM Specialist

Ken Uhl has over 20 years experience in the software development industry ranging from developer, Systems Engineer, Team Lead, Project Manager, and independent consultant. Among one of the earliest teams of field consultants for Atria Software – the original creators of Rational’s ClearCase and ClearQuest applications – Mr. Uhl has dedicated the past 14 years to specializing in software configuration and change management disciplines. His clients include both commercial and government organizations that have relied on his expertise to design and deploy enterprise-wide solutions. Mr. Uhl was recognized with an “Outstanding Support Award” for Rational Tools CM implementation by the State Department’s Passport Systems Program, and has brought efficiencies in software development to major government initiatives such as NASA’s Earth Observing Satellite (EOSDIS) program, the National Archives Electronic Records Archives (ERA) program, and various programs for the NSA and NSF. Commercial clients include Ciena, EMC, Ericsson, Freddie Mac, and Raytheon.

Ken holds a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and currently leads a team of specialists supporting a Rational-based software development infrastructure for all application projects within the National Science Foundation.
